Right now, I am at Lucia's house, while she is practicing her flute. She sounds VERY GOOD!! Hehe. Today was Halloween!! Lucia and I just came back from trick-or-treating! Whooh!! We went around her street, and we got candy! We didn't get a lot a lot, but still, who doesn't love candy? Whoever doesn't is a weirdo... ;) Just kidding! So, today in school, we had a PARADE and a PARTY. Isn't that totally awesome?! I know, it is. (: So, we were outside on Memorial Field waiting to walk around. It took sooooooooo long!!!! We saw everyone in their costumes... it was kinda awkward, but it was okay. Joanne was this lady who woke up in the woods... strange, right? But it was very creative. Her hair was a next with birds and eggs in it!! Saloni was a ladybug, and a lot of other people were, too! Also, a lot of people were bumble bees!! Lucia and I were planning to do that at first, but we decided not to. Good thing!
Alex was a... clown? I think, because he was wearing a big bow and he sure LOOKED like a clown. Hold on, Lucia is going to show me a flute duet. One sec....








Kay, I'm back! Lol, Lucia's mom just came, so like, SHUSH! Anyways, as I was saying, we also had a PARTY. It was kinda strange because the class mom's brought in ice cream. ICE CREAM. I mean, who eats ice cream at this time of day? But whatever. We also ate pretzels and mini cheese puffs. Yum! Oh yeah, there were also fruit shishkabobs (is that how you spell it?) and Reed Murphy and Jack Schwartz had a contest to see who could eat them the fastest. It was so gross! They ate like, 7 different types of fruits at once! Bleh, I would puke if I ate all different kinds of fruit at once! Ughhh... I'm gonna go now. Lucia is STILL practicing, but she is like doing all these COMPLICATED scales and stuff! Wow! Bye for now! ;) I'm gonna go eat some of my candy! Yum!

GUESS WHAT??! ALEX IS SITTING NEXT TO ME IN MATH CLASS AGAIN!! So, you're probably wondering why I said "again" if I already told you about it yesterday. Well, yesterday, we only switched seats in math and not in homeroom, so Alex was sitting next to me. Then, today, we switched seats in homeroom. And by total coincedence, Miss Schraer Alex next to me AGAIN! Even though I sit on the other side of the room now!! Isn't that sooooo weird? It was so awkward today in math class. We were taking a test, so at least we didn't do much talking. But we still have the rest of the month! Wahh!! :(
TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN!!! I AM SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! Lucia and I are going to be candy corns!! Isn't that awesome? We are going to have a party in class tomorrow. Then, I am going to go home with Lucia and we are going to go trick-or-treating together!! :)

Hi everybody! I'm in the library right now. So today, I have some very sad - interesting - awkward news. In math class, Alex K. is NOW SITTING NEXT TO ME!!! AHH!!!!! It's going to be SOOO awkward for the next month! :(
Also, Lucia and I went to a meeting room in the Kindergarten Wing to meet with these two ladies part of the Panther Publishing Program. We are getting our book published!! Isn't that awesome??!! I know, totally, right? Anyways, we discussed where we would put chapter breaks and illustrations, then the "Meet the Author" part thing, and then they took a picture of us. It was fun, but awkward at the same time. When we were coming back, we were running and I fell down. I hurt my knee and my elbow and my hand. It still kinda hurts now. :( Have to go now, bye!! ;)

Hey guys! So, this morning, I went to Chinese school. *groans* It was so boring!! Luckily, today I don't have piano lessons because I had one yesterday. Yipee! So, I have the whole afternoon to do my work. Which is good, cause I have a LOT! So far, I finished my vocabulary and my French bag. So now, all I have to do is work on my book report. I'm doing it on a book called Emmy and the Incredible Shrinking Rat. Better get reading! ;)

Anyway, today I had a piano competition. :) It was at Princeton. So, I went inside the room right? And there was a chinese guy and an american guy, and this other asian guy who was just sitting there. I think he was timing it or something because the piece is supposed to beless then 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I was so nervous, my hands were sweaty! lol. Overall, I played okay. No mistakes, at least! Also, Lucia went to a math competition. I hope she did well! (BEAT MUSHROOM HEAD!!)

Sorry I didn't post yesterday! I was too busy studying for these crazy tests, which I had today. Surprisingly, they weren't AS complicated as I had thought they would be, but they still were pretty hard! I don't have much to say today, and I have some work to do. I already finished all my homework, but now, I have to work on my book report which is due November 5th and my news report. AHH!! So much to do and such little time! BYEE!!

Ugh, I'm studying Science and Social Studies right now... we have a BIG Science Unit test this Friday, and a HUGE Social Studies test next Thursday! AHHHH!!! I'm going to make this blog entry VERY VERY short since I have nothing to report today. So tata!!!

Yay, now everything shows up!! ;) Right now, I'm at the library. SHUSH!! So, today was a boring day as usual. I woke up, got ready, and went to school. Joanne is right behind me bugging me like crazy. (Go away Joanne!!!!) Just kidding!! Haha... lol. Sooooooooooooooo,... I don't know what to say since today was boring. If you really want to find out about my day, look at Lucia's Blog because she has explained EVERY LITTLE DETAIL!! -wags finger at Lucia- lol. Okay, so Joanne just told me that she is having trouble with making her blog, and she really wants to make one. We first tried using her current email address, and when that didn't work, she made a new email address and tried to use that one. Unfortunately, neither worked. :( Isn't that sad, or WHAT? YO. So, today at the library, I took out a new book: The Wednesday Wars. UGH, JOANNE JUST SAID THAT I AM BORING. HOW RUDE!! FINE, YOU WANT ME TO BE MORE EXCITING? FINE....

Guess what? So far this school year, people have been saying that Alex liked me last year... that's really strange. Even Joanne said that! Here is what she told me today: (Now this is Joanne typing!) So...... last year, I as in Ms. Carroll's class and Alex was in Ms. Powers class. When I was taking a note down to Ms. Power's class.... when I opened the door, I heard people laughing. When I walked in further into the classroom, I saw that people were laughing at Alex. Kids in Ms. Powers class were shouting " Alex likes Joyce!" Alex was in the middle of all that racket and he was blushing. What he said was" Maybe?" WOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

(Now this is Joyce speaking again.) As you can see, I'm sorta "wowed" by this information... IT'S CRAZY I TELL YOU, CRAZY!! I have to go now. Bye peoples! ;)

Ugh, I typed stuff just a few minutes ago, but when I looked at my blog, it wasn't there! Guess I'll just have to type it again... My mom and I played badmitton outside, and then we went for a walk. Well, my mom walked and I rode my bicycle. ;) Then, when we got home, I studied for my math test tomorrow. I'm scared!! :) I better go study more! Cya! Yay! It was a half-day! No, wait... I shouldn't be happy. We should have gotten the day off! lol, okay. So, today was a very interesting day. Why? Well, for one thing, in TAG, we decided what jobs we would each have! Apparently, I am Vice President for Finance and Marketing... WITH ALEX K. AHHHHHH!!!!!! Mrs. Killeen put us together because we both chose Finance and Marketing as one of our choices... *sniff.* Everything else was pretty usual. It was all just a bit shorter! Oh, we also took a Reading test. It was pretty easy. Lol, in the middle of the test, Mrs. Killeen called our classroom and we had to go to TAG. I was like, "Wha...." Then, when I came back from TAG, I finished my test. That's pretty much it! I am going to post again tonight. ;)

So, this morning, I went to Chinese School in Paramus. It was soooooooo boring! Our teacher couldn't teach us today for some reason, so we had a substitue... she wasn't that bad, but the PRINCIPAL of the school came into our classroom to like, 'see what we do.' It was really stupid. Ah well. I just finished eating lunch (I know, it's a little late, but I had school!) and around 2:45, I have to go to a piano lesson that takes place at 3:15. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. UGH. I need to go to the library to drop off some books, but I don't think I will have time. Oh well, guess I'll have to do it tomorrow! That's all for now. Sorry guys, I couldn't write yesterday! I watched the movie, but by the time it ended, it was already really really late, and I couldn't go on the computer. Well, anyways, uh... I am just going to tell about TODAY. So, I woke up this morning around 9:15 (very late, I know!). Then, I had pancakes for breakfast. After I ate, I had to do chinese homework. I have chinese school tomorrow, bleh. I finished most of it, but I still have to write this dumb letter about my 'american life.' Weird, huh? Yes, VERY weird. But I have to do it! Anyway, later today, I will be playing outside (enjoying the fresh air, blah blah blah) and some other stuff. Oh, by the way, yesterday, I watched the movie "Billy Elliot." It was a pretty good movie. It was about this boy name Billy Elliot (obviously) and his father wants him to become a boxer, but he ends up going to dance classes secretly... yeah, the story goes on from there. In the end, he gets accepted into a dance school that is really high-class. Yeah... you guys should watch it! Oh, it's restricted 'cause it has bad language and some.... ah-hem, weird things, but it's still a good movie. It's 'inspiring.' lol. That's pretty much it. Today is a day off! Whoopee! It's for some Jewish holiday... I don't know the name. Anyway, although we had a day off, I still had a lot of homework. I mostly spent the day doing all of it! Fortunately, I finished all of it. Yay! Let's see... nothing much to say. Oh yeah, today I went outside to paly basketball! Yeah, my mom said that I should get more 'physical activity', so I went outside to shoot some hoops. It was pretty boring. I mean, who likes to play basketball themselves? Also, today, I watched the 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' DVD with my mom. It's weird because it was different! Like, I only knew about the movie 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' starring Josh Hutcherson. This was a different movie! Weird, huh? They both have the same name! So I was like, "Wow." Yeah, you get my point. ;) Tomorrow, I have safety patrol. Whoopee-doo... *rolls eyes* I'm the only girl stuck with Kelvin and Reed. UGH, THEY ARE SO ANNOYING. THEY DON'T EVEN DO ANYTHING EXCEPT YELL AT PEOPLE (which is really mean [I ask nicely]) AND TALK TO EACH OTHER. That's not what I call 'good patroling!' Haha. Okay, next. Um... okay. Tomorrow, we also have out NYM test. Which, I have to go study for right now, but I want to finish writing this blog first. So, about the NYM test, I think it's going to be easy. I sure hope so! This morning, I did not go to school. Why? Because 1.) I did not feel good, and 2.) the nurse said that I have to stay home for 24 hours. So, I woke up this morning around 7:30, but then I went to sleep again until about 9:50. Haha =D I ate pancakes for breakfast. Mm, delicious! Then, I studied Social Studies. Before I knew it, it was time to go to school. My mom drove me and I went in the Main Office. I walked upstairs to my classroom and unpacked all my stuff. When I went into the classroom, Lucia hugged me. ;) Hehe. Anyways, let's skip to the afternoon. We had math as usual, and then we had Social Studies. We had a SS test! It was only ten questions, so if I get ONE wrong, I will get a 90%! I'm nervous to see my grade! I hope I did good! Today, we got our Friday Folders! I know, I know, it's Wednesday, but tomorrow, we don't have school, and on Friday, Miss Schraer isn't going to be in school, so I guess the only day she couldo really give it to us is today! (: I got 100% on all my tests!~I am so happy~ Miss Schraer marked my Vocabulary test a 98%, but I really got 100% because she marked it wrong by accident. In fact, she did that to EVERYONE'S paper. So on Monday, I am going to give her my paper to correct it. ;)

O h m y g o s h.

I threw up today! Bleh. It was during gym. We had gym from 9:20 to 10:00 and we went outside and did the half-mile run. After it, I THREW UP. I felt horrible. I went to the nurse's office. That's why I am at home right now. You know, I really feel fine now... I could have stayed in school. I hate missing stuff in class! And tomorrow, I have a social studies test! Well, at least I have the study guide, but still, I would like to know what they were doing... oh well. Anyways, right now, I am doing some work (because I have nothing else to do!) and I might be going to the library later. Some of my friends go to the library afterschool, so maybe I can talk to them or something... but I am not sure if I am going or not. My mom says maybe... and by that, you can ASSUME that she means either 'yes' or 'no', but whatever. I have to choose a book for my book report! AHH! I have some books in mind, but they are pretty long, and since we have to take notes on every chapter or so, I am having second thoughts. Hm... well, that's all the stuff for today! ;)

School day... Ya ya, you probably know that already! Okay, moving on... -laughs-... well, this morning, we wrote a 'friendly' letter to Miss Schraer. That wasn't what I would call FUN, but it was okay. Then, we had Tech. (computer class) from 9:20 - 10:00. We typed our essays about our goals for sixth grade. Then, we printed them out. From 10:00 - lunch time (11:20), we went to the auditorium for a TAG presentation about Marketing and Advertising... thanks to that, I missed a reading test AND journal AND DLR (Daily Language Review)!! I was really mad. I took the test during the first half of lunch. AHHHH, I THINK I GOT ONE WRONG!!!! But it wasn't really fair... because how was I supposed to know that if you asked her, she would tell you the answer? -stares at Lucia- NO FAIR! WAHHHHHHH... Because of that, I had to miss lunch and go straight outside for recess... ah well. The afternoon was okay. We had math, as usual, and then we went to art. We have been working on our peace posters for about... 3 weeks? 2? I don't know, but what I DO know is that I'm staying afterschool next Wednesday because I CANNOT get this finished in only 2 more classes! Those are all the main highlights of the day, I guess. *sigh*

Bleh, I don't like Sundays. First off, I had Chinese School. I just came home from a piano recital at Madison Library. MAN, I AM TIRED!! Luckily, I'm going to Charlie Brown's tonight. YAY!!!

Yay! It's the weekend! I went shopping and bought these really soft and comfortable uggs (not the same kind I already have). Then, when I came home, I worked on my brochure for the woods. It's almost time to eat dinner now. Ugh, tomorrow, I have Chinese school and a piano recital. *sigh* I haven't even finished my Chinese homework yet! I better get to it!

Today, we had our first band rehearsal! We sounded pretty good, actually, for a group that played together for the first time in 2 months!
Geez, those tests were a lot easier than i thought they would be! ;) It's a good thing, really. If I hadn't studied last night, I would DEFINITELY not do well.
So... no BIG news lately... the usual...
*SIGH* I wish something exciting would happen... ah well.

Bleh. School today. We had a TAG presentation. Ugh, I didn't know it would be THAT much work! >.< But it's alright. I had TONS of homework today... well, not A LOT a lot, but it still kepy me busy. In fact, I have TWO tests tomorrow. Science vocabulary and Figures of Speech. So I have to go study now. Cya! ;)

Second day of blogging! Hm... I don't know what to write! Ah well. I guess I'll begin that today is a day off from school! YIPEE! Today, I will be going to the library to get some books. ;) Then, when I get back home, I am going to study. Bleh. Reading and Science. I also have to finish up my social studies poster about the Preamble of the Constitution. As you can see, it may be a holiday, but I still have a lot of work to do! (:
